This Privacy Policy explains how KMI (the parent company) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our web application (the “Service”). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not access the Service.
Personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, and profile picture provided via third-party authentication (e.g., Google or Facebook).
Data you input into Margino, including ingredient details (name, purchase quantity, cost, unit, usable quantity, unit equivalents), recipe details (name, yield, ingredients, other costs, pricing), user settings (VAT, service charge, discounts), and simulator data (operating expenses, sales projections, initial capital). This information is essential for the Service to function.
Subscription status, expiry date, and identifiers from our payment partner (e.g., Stripe). We do not collect or store full payment card details.
Automatically collected technical data (IP address, browser, OS, access times, and pages viewed before/after). We may use analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Facebook Pixel) to help improve Margino.
We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce policies, or protect rights, property, and safety.
We may share information with providers performing services for us, such as data storage and auth (Supabase), authentication (Google, Facebook), payment processing (Stripe), analytics (PostHog, Facebook Pixel), and customer service. These parties are obligated to protect your information.

We do not sell your personal information.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your information and rely on robust security measures from providers like Supabase. However, no system is entirely secure, and data transmission can carry risks.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data subject to legal and functional limits. Manage recipes and ingredients within the app, update account info via settings, or request account termination through our contact email below.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe such data has been collected, please contact us immediately.
